As the Intelligence Branch entered the 21st Century, its serving and retired members could look back upon the formative era of the Branch, the service of military Intelligence specialists during times of war and peace, the creation of the C Int C, and the formation of the Intelligence Branch with its own School and Branch Association.

It could also look back proudly on the accomplishments of Regular and Reserve Force Intelligence Branch members who had served commanders at all levels, at all HQs and in all environments with distinction during various local, national and international training activities, and on operational missions in Canada, Germany, Cyprus, the Balkans, Rwanda, the Persian Gulf, Somalia, Haiti, East Timor, the Middle East, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

The Intelligence professionals of today work in a variety of challenging and rewarding positions, at home and abroad, meeting the needs of commanders and operational planners at all levels and in all environments.  Army Intelligence Reservists, employed at 6 Intelligence Company (Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg), 2 Intelligence Company (Toronto) and 2 Intelligence Platoon (Ottawa), 4 Cie Rens (Montreal), and 3 Intelligence Company (Halifax), make a vital contribution to this effort while in garrison or deployed on overseas missions.

The Intelligence Branch is experiencing growth and renewal, and welcomes all Canadians interested in this field of employment and service to their country to enquire about the Branch at their local Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre.
